The Stargazer Fair
The Stargazer Fair was a large scale collaborative public art installation that used agriculture as it's primary social and structural elements. Centered around a 70' earthwork amphitheater in the form of a ship, celestial maps were drawn with radiating gardens. Each garden installation was co-developed and maintained by one of thirteen civic, art and environmental organizations from New Smyrna Beach. Stargazer was developed through the Atlantic Center for the Arts' inaugural Community Artist in Residence program in 2012 and 2013.
